He's been dead since 1688 and he's still got notes
John Bunyan wrote The Pilgrim’s Progress in Bedford gaol, died in 1688, and is buried in London. None of which has stopped him turning up on this podcast. He arrived as a joke about Bedford having exactly one famous person and stayed because he had opinions. He is against the church bells. He has ghostly stomach problems. He has strong views on the River Festival and on what a two-hundred-acre theme park is going to do to Elstow Brook. Andy maintains it is still just a field. Bunyan has been watching that field for three hundred and thirty-odd years and is inclined to agree.
